Halloween came and went

Halloween at our house donned appearances from the Hulk (Fabian), then there was a pirate (Marissa), Snow White (Karen), and the most gentle little Lion (Luis). We had a nice Halloween with the kids loading up on a lot of candy. We didn't go door to door but just went downtown which seemed to be the happening-est function in town with the exception of a local church carnival that was offering a chance at a surprise giveaway of a brand new vehicle to some lucky family. What a way to bless someone. We didn't join in their festivities but we passed by on the way home and they seemed to have quite a turnout. The kids had fun as we stumbled upon a youth performance of "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, Ichabod Crane". That was entertaining and it even starred our neighbor, one of Marissa's friends, in it.
