Just a reminder that the airing of the episode of Tougher in Alaska (on the History Channel) when they filmed while Rick was working back in January, when he was working at Prudhoe Bay in the brutally cold months, is on television tonight. They interviewed him during the filming but he has so much garb on him to keep warm that you might not even recognize him. I think he'll be dressed in dark blue with yellow reflector decorating his suit, with a hardhat on and all sorts of face shields, but really everyone wears the same attire there so it's hard to tell who's who because they all look the same. If they captured the true essence of what was going on during the taping, Rick was the boss who continued to tell the photographers to step back from the pipe being unloaded. Cameramen want to get right there in the mix for the best shots, and the guy's safety seemed to be one of Rick's biggest concerns. He kept telling the guy to back up. Not sure if they'll air that portion or not, but we'll see if he makes the cut.
We won't even get to see the show as we'll be at 2 different soccer games tomorrow. I'm hoping to catch the entire episode from their website. I think one of our friends are set to record it for us too. Sure hope someone will end up taping it. We don't even have cable or else we would.
Today was a great day and I really can't share too many details just yet, but I will reveal that Rick got a wonderful job opportunity offered to him today! We thank God for all He gives! He deserves ALL the praises!
