This is our newest member of the family, SCRUFFY, a mix of Chihuahua and Schnauzer pup. Rick got him specifically for Marissa since she had wanted a dog of her own for quite some time and since she has proven time and again to be such a wonderful help to me (her mom) daily and is such a huge help with the other kids, rewarding her with a puppy was only fitting. Actually it was all Rick's idea so she surely has daddy wrapped around her finger. She is a great helper and things would go completely awry without her willingness to assist me. I've grown to depend on her help every day. She's only 10 years old but what a mature little girl she's become. I'm so very proud of her and love her dearly. Her help is such a bonus in helping me manage through the daily grind.
Her puppy, Scruffy, is waiting for her in Texas where we will soon be going to. Rick's job is there in Texas for a little while so we are so excited to be relocating soon to where the entire family will be together! I'm thrilled to again have my husband's help and to have him around us constantly. We've made too many sacrifices apart from each other and it will be good to again have the family intact! With Rick being around, Marissa will be free to devote her time to training her puppy and focus on doing little girl things instead of being the helper. I praise God for bringing my family together! Now if I can manage to stay focused to get the many things accomplished before my trip there I'll be doing magnificent.

I am so excited you are finally getting to move and that Rick will be around more. I know thats going to be great for all of you, but especially for the kids. The puppy is adorable.
